Who can vote at the AGM?

 

 

Any member of the Melton Basketball Association is eligible to vote at the AGM 

 

Who is a member, how can you become a member? 

 1.       Playing Members 

A person who is registered to play, who has reached the aged of 18, in any domestic competition conducted by the Melton Basketball Association is a member.  

 2.       Parent Members 

A parent or guardian of a playing member who has NOT reached the age of 18 at the time of the AGM may nominate in writing prior to the AGM that he or she represents the Junior playing member under 18 years of age and that parent or guardian will become a member with full voting rights. 

 

Only ONE parent or guardian may nominate per junior playing member.  The parent nominated within the MBA online registration system (Sporting pulse) will be regarded (for the purposes of the 2017 AGM) as the parent or guardian with full voting rights. This can be changed until 5pm on Friday 1st September 2017. 

 

 3.       Other Member 

A person with interest in basketball who is not a playing member or parent member. Other members must apply to the board to become a member.  

 

Application forms are available by emailing  secretary@meltonbasketball.com.au. 

 

These forms must be received by the Secretary by 5pm on Tuesday 5th September. 

 

 4.       Life Members
