Soccer Presentation Night Friday 13 November 2015
The Southern Tablelands Football [Soccer] Association held its Representative Team and Annual Awards Night at the Goulburn Workers Club on Friday night.
The night was well attended as Players and Parents came together to congratulate the Winners on the night.
Association President Robert Scott Snr. welcomed Life Members, Players and Parents saying it was great to see such a large turnout on the night. He also said that the 2015 season was a successful year for the Rep Teams with the outstanding effort of the Under 14 Team in taking out the Under 14 Kanga Cup in the international Kanga Cup Tournament in Canberra in the July school holidays. He further said that plans were in place for the 2016 season with the expectation of an increase in numbers with the possibility of two under 15 Teams.
Rep Team Awards were presented to the following:
Players’ Player, Lachlan Handley,
Most Consistent Riley Tozer and the Coaches award went to Sebastian Cohrt.
Players Player went to Harry Wade,
Most Consistent was Julian Vieira
Coaches’ Award went to Deacon Campbell-Ginn.
Players’ Player Award went to Rhys Flissinger
Most Consistent was Mitch Jones;
Coach’s Award was taken out by Liam Smith.
Under 16 Girls Team
Players’ Player Award went to Kayla Webb
Most Consistent was Mereki Leten,
Coach’s Award was taken out by Lorna Anderson

Ibrahim Obeid – Workers Joeys - Under 12 Player of the Year.
Breanna Hickey – Trinity Maroon - Under 14 Division 2 Player of the year
Vanrotluang Taaung – Wollondilly Green - Under 14 Division 1 Player of the Year
Christian Moss - Crookwell - Under 17 Player of the Year
Hamish Brown - Stags FC - All Age Men’s Player of the Year
Evelyn McDade - Workers - All Age Women’s Player of the Year.
Dave Robinson - STFA Coach of the Year
Sharon Baker - STFA Supporter of the Year
Laisha Cox-Barlow - Marulan - STFA Club Person of the Year
Crookwell Under 14’s - Encouragement Award
Trinity All Age Women - Fair Play Award
The Top Annual Award for Junior Players, the Rising Star Award, was presented to a very proud Trinity Under 14 Player, Rhys Flissinger.
Stags FC and STFA Official, Craig Norris, received a standing ovation as he was awarded the Outstanding Service to Soccer/Football Award for Outstanding Service to Soccer/Football in the Southern Tablelands over a long period.
Norris has been a long standing official of the Stags Club and has been responsible for the susses of the Club in recent years and has grown to be the biggest in the association.
The most coveted Trophy of the Season, the Tony Lamarra Club Championship, was taken out by the Wollondilly Soldiers Club.
