The Chambers Franklyn Joondalup City Wolves are thrilled to announce the signing of explosive former Perth Wildcat Earnest Ross to the 2019 Men’s roster.

The Auburn and Missouri alumni is well-known and highly-regarded amongst WA Basketball circles, having spent time on the Perth Wildcats NBL roster during 2014-15 and the Geraldton Buccaneers SBL roster in 2018.

With broad international experience, the 6’5 Guam-born Oceania- athlete is considered an important, marquee fit for the Wolves as they look to continue their significant run of sustained success in Western Australia’s State Basketball League.

Men’s Head Coach Ben Ettridge played a pivotal role in securing Ross’s services, after recognising his massive talent during the 2018 season and more closely at the All-Star weekend.

“We are excited at the prospect of Earnest joining the Wolfpack. His all-round versatility and play making ability make him the ideal addition at both ends of our system” Ettridge said.

“Earnest has the ability to make those around him better, doing what it takes to make the team better also. We cannot wait for he and his new young to be in Wolfpack green, ideally for several years to come" Ettridge concluded.

Further player announcements are expected in the coming weeks, as the Wolves looks to refine their 2019 list with a view to sustainable improvement and striking the balance between international and local talent.

The Joondalup Wolves aspire to be the ‘destination of choice for Basketball’ in WA and currently have more than 4,000 members, a new Wolfpack stadium at HBF Arena and have won a total of x9 Championships between their Men’s and Women’s SBL teams since incorporation.
