Burdekin Basketball Junior Ambassador KYA OLSEN
Burdekin Basketball would like to introduce our 2016 Junior Water Festival Ambassador Kya Olsen.
This year we were fortunate to have two enthusiastic junior members who were willing to represent our association and they were Valyn McInerney and Kya Olsen. These two young ladies were interviewed by two well respected Burdekin identities who had to choose our Ambassador. This proved to be a very difficut task as both young girls interviewed commendably. After deliberation Kya Olsen was selected to this year represent our association.
Well done to both Girls - we appreciate your dedication to our association.
Kya is the eldest daughter of Ross & Yolanda Olsen. Kya is a student at East Ayr State School and has been a member of our association for the past 4 years. Kya has been Burdekin Basketball Representative player for the past two years. We wish Kya all the very best and look forward to supporting her through the coming months.
