2013 Junior Teams - 14 July 2013
Attached are the first draft of teams for Season 2 - 2013.
Remember, this season there are minor premiers and Grand Final Day winners at our annual End Of Year "Round Robin" tournament which is held on a SATURDAY in November. Watch emails and website for date.
If we have added you in a team and your are NOT playing please let me know. Alternatively, if we have missed your name in and you did sign on, we apologise if you contact Sandra Wight (firstname.lastname@example.org) and she will put you in a team for this week.
This season we have made 6 teams in both U10 and U12 - which is fantastic news.
In the U10's - we will trial playing 4 players only on the court. This usually helps get all players involved and allows more space for the beginners. NB: If the Bears team could bear with us - we will furnish you guys with a set of uniforms as soon as we can.
U12 competition also has six teams in Draft 1. This will allow a few new members to sign on within these first 3 weeks. So if you have any friends your age, please encourage them to sign on ASAP. We try to cap our U12 teams at 7 players so that all players get good playing time. Remember, if you are unable to be at any game any week PLEASE let your coach know so fill in players from a lower age group can be sought.
U16/U18 Games We are going to trial a few things. This week - we have a boys game and a girls game. Teresa and Sandra will talk to you all this Wednesday to see how you think it goes and ideas they have in mind for your weekly game to keep it competitive and interesting. Please note that for this week we have added a few U14 girls names to this girls game so we have enough. Please contact Sandra if you are not able to attend this week.
SCORING AND WASHING In the draw you will also note that we are adding parents names to score. This will be rostered. If your name is down to score we also ask that you offer your coach to take your teams uniforms home that week to wash. We understand that you may never have scored before, however, there are lots of people around to help you out. This simple job cannot be left to the same parents every week.
REP COACH APPLICATIONS Rep Coach Applications are now open and nominations will close Wednesday 24 July.13.
COACH BRADY CAMP Coach Brady Walmsley will be conducting a development camp on the 10th and 11th August. Cost is $10 per player. Forms are available at games control.
Players who are interested in Representative Selection for 2013/2014, are urged to attend.

**Coaches - if you have needed a floater due to shortage of players one week - this floater can only float to YOUR team for any further games. Floaters cannot float for more than one team in a season.
