The Demons opened the trip with a superclinic and question-and-answer session at Boolarra Primary School, with the local club and Auskick centre well-represented in their traditional colours.

The club then called by Drouin West, Labertouche and Longwarry primary schools on their way back to Melbourne in the afternoon.

Moe's favourite Declan Kielty - entering his second year on the Demons' rookie list - and Tom Bugg, who has close family ties to Morwell, were among the 15 players in attendance.

Other famous faces included cult figure ruckman Max Gawn, veteran champion Jordan Lewis and boon off-season recruit Jake Lever.
