Valley turns black and white

Hundreds of Latrobe Valley residents rubbed shoulders with some of the AFL's biggest names this week as part of Collingwood Football Club's two-day Community Camp.

The likes of Steele Sidebottom, Taylor Adams, Brodie Grundy and Jeremy Howe, as well as local favourites Jarryd Blair and Tyson Goldsack, were among 29 senior-listed players to make the trip to Gippsland.

The group participated in a range of activities including school, hospital and community groups visits, leadership talks, autograph signing sessions and program launches.

The visit was capped off with a formal function at Traralgon Greyhound Racing Club, which raised more than $5000 for local football.

More to come.
