2017 Senior Men's Fixtures Released

Campbelltown City will host Adelaide City in the 2017 PlayStation 4 National Premier League Season Opener on Thursday 16th February at Steve Woodcock Sports Centre.

The clash, which doubles as a 2016 Grand Final replay - will be the first ever fixture played under lights at Campbelltown City’s home ground on Stradbroke Road in Newton.

“Opening our 2017 Season with a Grand Final rematch between two great rivals at what will be a transformed venue under lights will be a fantastic occasion,” said Football Federation SA (FFSA) Chief Executive, Michael Carter.

“We’re very excited and privileged to have been asked by FFSA to host the 2017 PlayStation 4 National Premier League Season Opener,” said Campbelltown City Soccer Club Chairman, Paul Centofanti.

“It is guaranteed to be a truly special and unique blockbuster event.”

MetroStars will host West Torrens Birkalla in a replay of last season’s Elimination Final while West Adelaide return to where their 2016 season ended – Polonia Reserve against the Croydon Kings.

Further highlights of the 2017 PlayStation 4 NPL Opening Round include a home game for newly-promoted Para Hills Knights against Adelaide Comets.

Adelaide United and Adelaide Olympic is 2017’s first Saturday night fixture – one of 15 night fixtures for Olympic next season.

2016 State League 1 Champions, Cumberland United, travel to Marden Sports Complex on Monday night, 20th February against Adelaide Blue Eagles. 

South Australia’s top flight competition will return to regional associations next season, with games to be held in Mt Gambier on March 18 and the Riverland on April 1st.
