2017 Under 12 Jamboree

Congratulations to our Morwell girls Olivia Fourlze and Taylor Walsh who have been selected to participate in the 2017 Basketball Victoria Country Under 12 Jamboree in Echuca from Saturday 23 September – Tuesday 26 September.

Olivia attended the Under 12 Skills day in July and was selected to play in the Jamboree and Taylor was nominated by Morwell Basketball to participate as a referee. The Jamboree is a fun event to be involved with for coaches, managers, players and referees and is seen as the beginning of Basketball Victoria Country pathways for athletes, coaches and referees.

Well done girls and we hope you enjoy the Jamboree!!

Junior Development

Junior Skills training sessions will recommence on Tuesday the 17th October 2017. A big thankyou to Jenny for her help with the training throughout the year and to all the parents that took the time to bring their kids along.

It fantastic to see the improvements in the skill level of all the kids taking part and to see you using what you’ve learnt in the games when you play.

Hope to see you all next season.

Always Remember, “Practice makes permanent
