Spot the Police Officer

activity around crowded spaces. Project Unite officers will pop up anywhere and at any time in unpredictable , intelligence driven deployments of plain clothes and uniform staff  and they proved this yesterday joining us on the court at the fabulous new Carrara Sports and Leisure Centre.

Thank you to the Rollerblaze players and Brisbane player who put on the game.  Lots of young people, the MC for the Day, people from the Titans and Gold Coast Regional Basketball mustered the courage to "have a go" - playing against a team with the two police officers.

Thanks to our volunteers - Alan Wilson, Blake Whitehead, John Stubbs, Bruce Wilson and Roger Elliott who all helped to make it a good event. Special thanks to Corrine Child  who was a natural at recruitment......  it was Corrine who invited the police officers to join in....

The support of the public is vital in making Project Unite a success.  By being a prepared, vigilant and attentive community member you can be an extra set of eyes and ears for Qld Police.

If something doesn't add up, speak up by calling the National Security Hotlinhe on 1800 123 400.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
