EAGLES SUPERLEAGUE 2015 COACHING APPOINTMENTS!

We are delighted to announce our coaches for SL 2015. Jarrad Teka will be leading our women's side, with Scott Naughton again coaching our men's open. Both Eagles club legends have many years of playing experience at the local and representative level, complemented with a long history of premierships coaching successful teams. Thanks gents for offering up your guidance, our teams will be lucky to have you!

COMPETITION INFORMATION:

Super League & Premier League: Eagles will be hosting both Men’s and Women’s  Super League (SL) and Premier League (PL) teams throughout the Summer Season, to ensure that all players interested are given the opportunity to be selected.  Anyone wishing to play in the Men’s and Women’s  Super league sides, will need to be present at training and as demonstrate a great attitude in order to warrant Eagles Selection. Anyone is welcome to trial, and juniors are encouraged to attend.

A mens and womens squad of approx. 30 players respectively will be formed, and Superleague teams will be selected each week from the squads, based on the listed criteria.  Those players ineligible for SL in any given week will be included in the Premier League team for that week.

Registration is $120 per adult, and $75 per junior under 16 years. The one registration fee will cover both SL & PL for each individual for the summer season.

Canberra Summer Competitions: For those non SL/PL players interested in a run this summer, we will be registering as many teams as warranted.

It is anticipated that in addition to the Men’s and Women’s SL & PL sides, that we will be entering numerous social mixed, A grade mixed as well as men’s social and A grade sides in local Competitions. Registration is $120 for adults and $75 per junior per team.

To cater for the development of our social players, we will be hosting club trainings in the lead up to the start of the summer competition. These will be held over 3 consecutive Sundays, with and alongside our elite squads – starting @ 2pm at the UC fields on Sunday the 13th September.

Regional Competitions:

Woden Eagles also expect to be attending the NSW Country Champs (Dubbo Oct), State Cup (Port Macquarie Dec),& Yass Knockout (Yass Jan) so please email the club if interested in playing in any one of our competitions, or attending any regional tournaments. Please note, NSW State & Country tournaments are only open to Canberra Elite clubs, so join the Eagles as an affiliate team to benefit from the pathways we can provide.
