Upcoming Regional Competitions

Woden Eagles have been invited to attend the following regional touch competitions. These tournaments offer a high level of competition and fun, and always make for a memorable weekend.
Please comment, PM Genevieve bond, email woden.eagles@gmail.com or let your coach know ASAP if you are interested in attending any (or all) of the following. Please highlight which competition, and which division of that competition is your preference. We will aim to send teams to all events. Costs to attend will vary as registration/travel/accom expenses will be at your own cost though the club will try and subsidise as much as possible through fundraising.
In order as per the calendar:

Wagga touch knockout 16th-17th November

This tournament is in its second year, and we sent men's women's and mixed teams last year. Rego $300 per team plus accom, travel.
Jubilee Park, Wagga
$10000 prize pool
NSW state cup 6th-8th December
The premier NSW competition only open to NSW affiliate teams or as per invitation. Woden eagles have been invited, this will be the most expensive to attend as rego is $1200 per team.
Open to women's, men's, mixed - multiple divisions.
Port Macquarie
Cootamundra Mixed Knockout 11th-12th Jan
Nicholson Oval, Cootamundra
An important one for Eagles, as the competition is celebrating its 30th year and Woden Eagles won the very first one (one of many to follow!) so it's a priority to ensure we get back there to win it in this anniversary year. Costs per team TBA but expected to be similar to Wagga cost.
Mixed only
$5000 prize pool.
Yass Knockout 25th-26th Jan
Right in our backyard, this competition draws teams from all over as is right in the lead up to NTL. A great weekend out, and very easy to commute each day or stay the night! Need to nominate soon, as only 104 teams are accepted and this fills fast! Cost TBA,  but will be the cheapest of all as is so close with relatively low rego fee's.
Open to women's, men's, mixed.
Walker park, Yass
$12,000 prize pool
