IAB, BIrthright Partnering for Baseball Trip

To Jewish baseball/softball players between the ages of 18-26 living outside of Israel.

The Israel Association of Baseball (IAB) invites you to join the first-ever Birthright/Baseball/Softball trip to Israel.

Both Israel and baseball are part of your heritage. This is a unique opportunity to combine both legacies in a once in a lifetime experience that will not only enrich your ties to your Jewish identity and tradition, but will enable you to leave a baseball legacy in Israel.

The Israel Association of Baseball has been building bridges between Israelis and North Americans for almost 3 decades.

Today, THOUSANDS of Israelis play the game throughout the country.

Recently, Israel was invited to participate in the World Baseball Classic Qualifiers, to be held in the fall of 2012. This provides us with a unique opportunity to spread the great game of baseball throughout Israel and you can be a part of it. There is no greater sport that creates a bridge between Israelis and Americans and you can help build it.

Our 10-day specialty program will include of course all the “must see” sites and topics. In addition we will explore Israel through a special lens, the lens of the game of Baseball. We will have interactions with Israelis who play the game. You will introduce the game to children in development towns and disadvantaged neighborhoods; help improve the baseball skills of aspiring young Israeli players as well as hanging out and competing with the Israeli National Baseball and Softball Teams!! Our fun filled tour will focus on building Jewish identity through Baseball.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
