Position Vacant - Referee Development and Community Programs Officer - NT

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Referee Development and Community Programs Officer
  to join the team in Darwin.

The Referee Development and Community Programs Officer will plan, implement and deliver programs to improve the quality and quantity of Rugby League referees based in the Northern Territory to service local competitions.

The successful candidate will have all or some of the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor degree or a relevant post-secondary school qualification combined with relevant work experience in Sport is preferred
  • Proficient computer skills (particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and e-communication skills
  • Previous volunteer and/or referee coordination experience preferred
  • Integrity and credibility
  • Positive community spirit
  • Knowledge of rugby league and a positive advocate for NRL NT
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and deliver projects / programs from start to finish
  • Experience in working with volunteers
  • Ability to work unsupervised and produce creative solutions to problems
  • Team player
