Diversity Roadshow: The workforce of the future

Following a recent Netball Development Forum held in Auckland featuring an inspiring presentation by Diversity Works NZ please find information direct form the Diversity Works NZ Communications Manager for the benefit of our netball community...

Our Chief Executive Bev Cassidy-Mackenzie has asked me to forward you this information about the Diversity Roadshow, which we believe will be very valuable for many of the people you work with in the netball community.

The 2018 Diversity Regional Roadshow is travelling to nine locations around the country in March and April, offering organisations the chance to explore how to best future proof their workforce by engaging with employees across a diverse range of ages and cultures

One of Diversity Works NZ’s Diversity Advisors will facilitate a discussion on how our labour market is changing, the impact of immigration and the increase in Millennial and aging workers, and the opportunities and challenges that presents for organisations around the country.

At each session, past Diversity Award NZ winners and entrants will talk about how they implemented their successful initiatives and the positive impacts they’ve had on business performance.

Here’s when we will be in the regions.

Whangarei – Thursday, 8 March
Hamilton – Tuesday, 13 March
Rotorua – Wednesday, 14 March
Tauranga – Thursday, 15 March
Christchurch – Tuesday, 10 April
Dunedin – Wednesday, 11 April
Queenstown – Thursday, 12 April
New Plymouth – Tuesday, 17 April
Wellington – Wednesday, 18 April
Read more about these events and book a place.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
