IFNA Rules of Netball & NNZ Regulations

Two key documents - the INFA official Rules of Netball along with the Regulations of Netball New Zealand are attached below.  These are vital documents that are well worth familiarising yourself with if taking part in any netball activities within New Zealand and we as a netball centre adhere to as part of our own code of conduct, rules and regulations and procedures.

The International Rules of Netball -
information below can be accessed via the following link: http://www.netball.org/netball/the-rules-of-netball

As announced at INF Congress 2013 in Glasgow the INF Board took a strategic decision to make the Rules of Netball freely available online in order to assist the growth and development of the sport.

The full rules of netball can be downloaded for individual use here:

Additional guidance on the application of the Rules may be found here.

Please also find attached below the Official Rules of Netball published by Netball Australia (accessible via this weblink: http://netball.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/Official-Rules-of-Netball_Revised-2012.pdf).  These rules more closely follow the format and lay-out of the International Rules of Netball book which can be purchased from the NWC Office for $8 if you wish to own a pocket-sized copy of your own.

Regulations of Netball New Zealand

These rules adopted by Netball New Zealand form the basis for our own Centre practices and provide a reference point for our own NWC Rules and Regulations.  Copy attached.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
