Netball Central are excited announce the first Fill Your Kete (informal) sessions which will include a number of specialist presenters kicking off in February 2018.

Yvonne Willering held the role of Silver Ferns Head Coach between 1997 and 2002 and is currently a member of the International Netball Federation Coaching Advisory Panel. Yvonne is one of New Zealand’s top sports coaches and in 2002 was made an Officer of the Order of New Zealand for services to Netball.

This workshop will explore the elements of Unit Defence and how players can apply pressure to their opposition and work together to create intercept and turnover opportunities.

Yvonne is renowned for her innovated approach to coaching and an ability to engage coaches of all levels.  Her genuine passion for the game is apparent as she aims to pass on her helpful insight into the game and uses her wealth of experience in the form of playing and coaching analogies to relay how to get the best out of your players.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand.
