This programme suits keen young netballers in Year 5 & 6 keen to refresh their skills and get their eye in so they can be ahead of the rest and start the season on their best foot. This is a good opportunity to gain a helpful lead-in to school trials. Those new to netball are also welcome to come and find out what this exciting sport has to offer.

Six week duration
Start date: Monday 13th February 2017
End date: Monday 20th March 2017
One hour sessions run from 4.00pm to 5.00pm
Cost: $75 per participant

This fun-filled programme focuses on basic netball skills to give your child a good kick-start to their netball season. Sessions are led by our NWC Netball Development Officer incorporating a number of fun activities designed to practice movement, footwork and ball skills along with elements of attack, defence and shooting. In an effort to keep the fun-factor high and actively engage participants we'll make the most of modified games to allow attendees to combine practiced skills together into a game-play situation (where participant numbers allow). The pre-season timing provides a great opportunity for junior players to get ahead of the rest come trial time and make an impact with loads of enthusiasm to boot!

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
