Farewell to our Board Chair
Karen Fifield our Netball Wellington Centre Board Chair sadly tabled her resignation to the board in April due to increased commitments in her role as the CEO for Wellington Zoo.
Karen over the past 3 years has provided strong leadership and direction to the board and the centre, and it was with great reluctance that the Board accepted her resignation. The Board wished Karen well and thanked her for time and energy that she gave to Netball Wellington Centre.
As Karen’s resignation was tabled and accepted mid term the board are required to appoint an interim Chair. The Board are pleased to inform you that current board member Nicki Zande has agreed to fill this position until after the end of December 2019.
