Junior Sport Framework
The Junior Sport Framework is a resource that aims to assist sporting organisations to build safe, fun, quality and inclusive environments for the delivery of junior sport.  Since its development in 2002 a significant number of sporting organisations from National Sporting Organisations through to community level clubs have utilised the research papers, tools and templates included in the Framework to help them in the development of their own junior sport policies and strategies.

The ASC is now seeking to review and update the Junior Sport Framework to ensure it remains relevant and continues meeting the needs of the sporting community across Australia.

To ensure the information presented in the Junior Sport Framework is reflective of the issues and challenges faced in the delivery of junior sport, and to provide us guidance on the most appropriate resources and tools to support the development of junior sport we would like to invite you to participate in this research.

Protecting your confidentiality
Please be assured that the information and opinions you provide will remain confidential and will be used only for research purposes. Your name will not be attached to your responses and your responses will be combined with those from other respondents for reporting purposes.

If you have any questions about this survey, please do not hesitate to contact David Simpson, of the Participation Growth Unit of the Australian Sports Commission on 02 6214 7342 or

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
