FootyWISE Research - SAWFL Players

Attention SAWFL Players!

The AFL, together with researchers from the Australian Centre for Research into Injury in Sport and its Prevention (ACRISP) at Federation University Australia, are undertaking a research project to better understand injury and injury risk, for women who play Australian football. The results will identify injury risk for women who participate in Australian football and compare them to those experienced by men. This information will be used to develop training and coaching guidelines specifically minimising injury risk in women.

Please take the time to read the letter and statement located at the bottom of this page before completing the survey at the link below. This survey is open to all players over 18 years of age.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
