WNWBL MVP Awards

The WNWBL MVP Awards are voted on by a triple voting system with both coaches and the game referees putting in votes for a 1.0, 2.0, 3.0 & 4.0 point player following each game. The athlete with the highest number of votes in their classification at the end of the season is named MVP.

1.0 Point MVP - Ella Sabljak (Minecraft Comets)

2.0 Point MVP - Kylie Gauci (Stacks Goudkamp Bears)

3.0 Point MVP - Sarah Stewart (Sydney Uni Flames)

4.0 Point MVP - Amber Merritt (Be Active Western Stars)

Overall Season MVP - Kylie Gauci (Stacks Goudkamp Bears)

 

All Star Five (comprised of the 4 point MVP's and an additional outstanding athlete to make up 14 points)

Season Top Scorer (highest average point score during minor rounds)

Amber Merritt (Be Active Western Stars)

Amber scored a total 531 points for the Be Active Western Stars in the 2014 season with an average of 33.2 points per game. Amber shot at 56.4% from the field and 58.4% from the free throw line. The highlight of Amber’s season was the game against Victoria in the opening round where Amber scored 53 points.
