Hawks announce signing of Men’s SBL imports for 2015.

The Perry Lakes Hawks Men’s SBL team has bolstered its playing stocks by adding USA imports Jason Conrad and Bryton Hobbs to their line-up for 2015.

Jason Conrad is a 213 cm centre from California and has recently played for the Moncton Miracles in the Canadian NBL.

Coach Nix says of Jason - "Jason brings legitimate size and athleticism. He will be an intimidating presence on both ends of the floor.

Bryton Hobbs who hails from St Louis Missouri, is coming to Australia after completing his studies and basketball at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He is a 183cm guard and Coach Nix says of Hobbs: "Bryton has blistering speed and the ability to score in bunches, his length will be an asset on the defensive side of the floor as well"

"We are excited to be welcoming Jason and Bryton into the Perry Lakes family. I expect them to come in and make an immediate impact on the league. These guys will bring something new to the team that we haven't had in the time I've been here" says Nix.

"We did an extensive search across the globe to find the pieces we believe will take us to the next level and we have come away with two quality young men. I'm looking forward to helping them develop on and off the court."

Both Jason & Bryton are due in Australia in mid-February and the Hawks look forward to seeing them in the Blue & White.
