The Early Years - Season 1882 to 1911

SEASON 1882

Extract from newspaper cutting.

"On May 24th a football match was played at Willunga against Kensington. The weather was propitious and the attendance was large.

The result of the game was Kensington one (doubtful) goal and four behinds to Willunga's one goal and 17 behinds. The play was very good on both sides and the game was played with good temper, not a discordant word."
