AGM and Committee Vacancies
The season is coming to a close with the last regular game in a month and the grand finals on 1st April. While we are still playing regular games we want to take this opportunity to advise everyone that we have the ATFA Annual General Meeting (AGM) followed by presentations and a wind-up on the 11th April.
At the AGM, the committee for next season will be elected. We encourage you to attend both the AGM and put your hand up to join the committee. The committee is good fun and it’s quite satisfying running what we believe is the premier mixed competition in Albany.
Quite a few of the current committee will be stepping down, including all the Office Bearers (President, Secretary and Treasurer) having served for several years so there will definitely be opportunities for new members. The roles and responsibilities are detailed on the ATFA website under "About Us" and "Albany Committee" or you can have a chat to any of the current committee.
Nominations for positions can be made prior to the AGM or on the day, noting that those received prior to the meeting take precedence.
