ANNOUNCEMENT - World Deaf Basketball Rankings 2012-13

ICSD have released the latest ranking for both the mens and womens, after the recent round of regional deaf games in 2012.

The Goannas have improved their ranking by 1 spot to 16th in the world, after their Bronze medal result from the 2012 Asia Pacific Games. The other competing nations at the Asia Pacific Games had a mixed result after their performances - Chinese Taipei slipped one position despite taking out the Gold at the Asia Pacific Games, Japan held 12th spot despite getting silver, and Korea also held 21st position after coming 4th.

Despite the Geckos not competing at the Asia Pacific Deaf Games, they were still able to have a ranking, thanks to their participation at the 2009 Deaflympics. As a result, they were able to hold their spot as 11th in the world.
