2019 WABL Trials
The HotFrog Perth Redbacks have opened their WABL Trials for 2019.
With a new look format 2019, tryouts will take place at the Leisure Life Centre Vic Park over two days. All players will be required to attend the first trials in age group order. This trial will be conducted by Director of Coaching Craig Allen and WABL coaches.
The first of the trials has been allocated to the following days and times:
- Tuesday 29th Jan 2019: Under 12, 14, 16 and 18 Girls 3 pm to 6 pm
- Wednesday 30th Jan 2019: Under 16 and Under 18 Boys 3 pm to 6 pm
- Thursday 31st Jan 2019: Under 12 and Under 14 Boys 3 pm to 6pm
Players selected after the first round of trials will be required to attend sessions conducted exclusively by their WABL coaches on the Sunday where final team selections will be made:
Sunday 3rd February
- 8:00am to 9:30am Under 12 Boys
- 9:30am to 11:00am Under 12 & Under 14 Girls
- 11am to 12:30pm Under 14 Boys
- 12:30pm to 2pm Under 16 & Under 18 Girls
- 2:00pm to 3:30pm Under 16 Boys
- 3:30pm to 5:00pm Under 18 Boys
** PLEASE NOTE NO registrations will be taken on the day of trials
Uniform to be worn consists of a Redbacks Reversible Singlet & black shorts. To be consdidered for WABL all sessions are comulsory, Redbacks reversibles will be available to purchase on the day.
Any players requiring an exemption are to be sent through to coaching@perthredbacks.asn.au for consideration.
Please ensure all players bring a basketball and water bottles for the session and all clearly marked. Mouth guards are also required for all game play.
