Shoot for Loot to raise funds for our club
When: Saturday 10th April 2010
Where: Leisure Life Vic Park Time: 1.30 till 4pm Sausage sizzle, pizza and drinks for sale
Where staging a "Shoot Out" where you will shoot for loot and raise funds for your club.
The idea is to seek individual sponsors (family and friends) who will
sponsor you to shoot for goals. They can sponsor you per goal you get
in, or simply make a set donation. Very similar to a lap-a-thon.
Based on each player having 25 shots for goals, your sponsors will pay
you for the number of goals you get from your 25 shots. Shots will
include: 5 x free throws, 5 x left hand lay-ups, 5 x right hand lay-ups
and 10 x jump shots.
PRIZES
The winning individual will receive a "ONE on ONE" basketball session with our import Jon Meriweather (most money raised)
The winning team will win an SBL box at an SBL home game, including entry drinks food (most money raised by a team)
Come along and meet our SBL players and coaches and let's shoot this out- The stakes are high!
