MSBL Player of the Week

THE week ten Men’s SBL Player of the Week has been awarded to Damien Scott of the Goodlife Homes Willetton Tigers.

 

The Willetton Tigers have been on a roll these last two months having won seven of their last eight games to see them sitting fourth in the overall standings with a record of 9 wins and 4 losses.

 

Damien Scott has been a major contributor for the Tigers as they continuing to claw their way up the ladder averaging 23.4 points and 3.6 assists per game.

 

On Saturday night the Willetton Tigers hosted the Mandurah Magic where Scott exploded with a game high 34 points including five triples to go with 11 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals and 1 block while only recording one turnover for the entire game.

 

Scott’s stand-out performance was enough to get the Tigers a win on their home floor defeating the Magic 88 to 76.

 

Since the addition of import Charles Funches to the line-up, the Tigers have put themselves firmly onto the championship radar and will be pushing for a top four finish by the seasons end.
