MSBL Player of the Week
THE week four Men’s SBL Player of the Week has been awarded to Tre Nichols of the Print Sync South West Slammers.
Import guard Tre Nichols continued his rich vein of form as he dominated for the South West Slammers in their weekend double.
The South West derby took place on Friday night as the Slammers defeated the Mandurah Magic in a tight contest 109 to 104.
Tre Nichols was on fire with a huge game for the home side consisting of 32 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 2 steals.
On Saturday night the Slammers hosted the Goldfields Giants at Eaton Recreation Centre where Nichols again starred with 8 rebounds and a game high 37 points which included six triples in the home sides nail biting win 101 to 97.
Nichols has been named in the ‘SBL Team of the Week’ for three consecutive weeks and his form is not just showing on the stats sheet but also in the win column with the Slammers now sitting inside the top 8.
