2014 SBL Fixtures

The 2014 SBL Season kicks off with a bang with 10 blockbuster games in week one.


Week two involves the highly anticipated Magic v Flames game on the Sunday where Taylor Land will take on his former club alongside his brother Cooper at the Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre.

Newly appointed MSBL Lakeside Lightning head coach David Olley will have to wait until week 3 for his first home game, however the game should be worth the wait as they host Ty Harrelson and the South West Slammers in a Friday night blockbuster!

Easter Weekend will again see country teams the Geraldton Buccaneers and Goldfields Giants going head to head in what is growing into one of the biggest rivalries in the SBL.

The Redbacks will take on the Wolves in a stand-alone game on Easter Monday at Belmont Oasis in a game that is sure to attract big crowds with the family friendly game times of 12 and 2pm.

Anzac Day Weekend is set to be huge with the Eagles hosting the Cougars and the Slammers hosting the Flames on Thursday night before the Tigers take on the Eastern Suns at Willetton on Anzac Day Friday.

The long weekend Sunday in Week 12 is going to be a massive day at the WA Basketball Centre with a Men's Double-Header as the Hawks host the Giants and the Redbacks host the Buccs.

The Senators travel south on Sunday June 1 in conjuction with the Churches of Christ Sporting Event which should attract hundreds of fans to the game against the Slammers at Eaton Recreation Centre.

In week 20 the Lakeside Lightning will take on the Wanneroo Wolves in a 2013 MSBL Grand Final rematch, while Craig Mansfield's Eastern Suns and CJ Jacksons Perry Lakes Hawks women's teams will be hoping the job of qualifying for finals is done by then as they sit back and relax with a bye in the final week.

2014 is going to be an exciting year in the State Basketball League!
