2019 YOUTH AND ROOKIE PLAYERS OF THE YEAR AWARDS
Basketball NSW is pleased to announce the winners of the Youth and Rookie Players of the Year awards for 2019 Spalding Waratah League.
The Waratah League Youth and Rookie Player of the Year awards are determined by votes from the Head Coach and Team Captain of each team in these divisions. Voters were not permitted to vote for members of their own team.
Championship Men Youth Player of the Year
Lochlan Hutchison – Sutherland Sharks
Championship Women Youth Player of the Year
Lara McSpadden – Newcastle Hunters
Division 1 Youth Men Rookie of the Year
Oliver Hedger – Central Coast Crusaders
Division 1 Youth Women Rookie of the Year
Tahli Smith – Albury Cougars
Division 2 Youth Men Rookie of the Year
Jordan Roman – Blacktown Storm
We would like to invite all our award recipients to attend this weekend’s finals presentation. An invitation will be sent to each association with details on how to collect your ticket and when you will be presented your award.
2019 Finals
The 2019 Spalding Waratah League Finals will be held on the 17th & 18th of August at Breakers Indoor Sports Stadium (Saturday & Sunday) and Niagara Park (Saturday only).
