Trevor Gleeson, the current Head Coach of the Perth Wildcats in the NBL competition, has had a stellar coaching career spanning over 20 years. Trevor’s career started as an assistant with the Brisbane Bullets, and since then he has held coaching positions in the U.S – Sioux Falls Skyforce, South Korea, the Townsville Crocodiles and the Perth Wildcats since 2013. In 2015-16, Trevor guided the Wildcats to their seventh NBL Championship. Coach Gleeson is also the current Assistant Coach for the Australian Boomers, including
during the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.

Mel is currently the State Performance Manager – South, for Basketball Queensland as well as Assistant Coach for Basketball Australia’s Centre of Excellence (CoE) where she assists Associate Coach Paul Goriss and the current Women’s National Head Coach Brendan Joyce in developing targeted national athletes with the potential to be selected as Australian team members. Mel began coaching after a stellar playing career which saw her
start in the BQJBC for Southern Districts, and then go onto play in the QBL for the Cairns Dolphins and in the WNBL with the Perth Lynx.
