Senior Team Nomination Senior Summer Season 2017

 

1. Nominations Close: 5.00 pm Friday 30th May 2017.

2. Fees, venues, game times and draws are subject to change without notice.

3. Players under the age of 16 as at 31/12/2016 are not permitted to play in the senior competition without written application to and approval from the Board.

4. Teams, players or coaches that are reported for unsportsmanlike behaviour by a referee, referee supervisor, court supervisor or other official may be given a written warning. In extreme circumstances, and/or if a second report is received in relation to a similar incident, consideration will be given to removing the team or individual from all competitions administered by Caboolture Basketball Inc.

5. Nomination Fee.

5.1. Team Nomination fees is $75 must paid online as per the online registration form. There will be a $20 admin fee for any team that registered after this date

5.2. Once a team is registered, the nomination fee is not refundable.

6. Placement in competition.

6.1. Teams will be placed in competition under a first come first serve basis as there are limited game slots available. CBI reserves the right to refuse to accept an individual's or team's nomination And will review team nomination to ensure teams are placed in correct groups prior to start of the season

6.2. If teams have players that are/have played SBL/QBL in the past 2 years they will be required to place in the A grade competition in each age group. if there is not enough team in a certain age group they will be combined and split once finals start

7. Important notes for teams.

7.1. Court space at Morayfield is limited. Teams must have a minimum of 7 players to nominate.

7.2. Teams/Players who owe fees from previous seasons will not be accepted until outstanding debt is pad.

7.3. Teams will be placed into divisions in order of receipt of nomination but the CBI Board or their delegate(s) reserves the right to determine a team's division where it deems necessary.

7.4. Teams that are not offered a position will be placed on a waiting list and offered a position if a vacancy occurs.

7.5. Teams that forfeit must give a minimum of 24hrs notice and will be charged $190 for the forfeit and must be paid prior to the commencement of their next game

8. Game times.

8.1. Game times will start from 6:30 to 9:30pm on Tuesday nights.

8.2. Game times will be shared as evenly as possible. Teams are not given a preference of game time and must be available for all time slots. If this results in a team having to forfeit, forfeit fees will apply.

9. Player Registration

9.1. All player registration fees are to be paid prior to participating in the player's 1st game (all games in all divisions are counted).

9.2. All registration is online and includes BQ and CBI registration and membership fees

9.3. Teams that allow un-financial players to play will be penalised; a forfeit will be recorded against that team and forfeit fees will be applied.

9.4. Player registration fees:

9.4.1. BQ and CBI membership fees for new players will be $150 and will expire on the 31/12/17. This includes the sporting pulse fees and charges .

10. Game fees: $95 per team per game this includes score bench supplied for every game.

11. Uniforms

11.1. Refer to competition Rules on website regarding uniforms and numbers.

11.2. No full length skins, ladies leggings/bike pants and shorts with pockets will be allowed

11.3. No jewellery will be allowed (nose piercings, earrings, braclets etc are to be removed and not tapped)

12. Season dates

12.1. Competition will commence on:

Men's & Ladies - Tuesday July 11th 2017.

12.2. Competition will run every Tuesday excluding any public holidays or unless Morayfield Sport and Event Centre is not available to CBI from MBRC.

12.3. Finals will be held over 3 weeks and will be in the format of 1 v 2 / 3 v 4 Winners of 1 v 2 to Grand Final , Loser of 1 v 2 plays winner of 3 v 4

By Nominating a team all players agree to the following:

I/we understand and acknowledge that competition will be run in accordance with the FIBA Rules of Basketball, CBI Official Competition Rules, the CBI Codes of Conduct and the conditions on this nomination form.
