VANDERJAGT RESIGNS AS GENERAL MANAGER

Greg will depart the association at the end of this month to pursue an exciting new career opportunity in Victoria. Greg joined TBI four years ago as Basketball Development Manager following a long NBL career which included two stops in Townsville with the Crocodiles, his previous association level experience with Southern Districts and Mackay Basketball has helped to guide TBI into an advantageous position moving into the future.

While we are disappointed to see Greg depart the association we are in an exciting position moving into the future and will now commence the search for a general manager to move into the role to guide TBI through an exciting and busy period to commence 2019.

On behalf of TBI and the Board we thank Greg for his contribution to TBI since 2015. “Greg has managed to lead the club through an extremely difficult period and will certainly be missed by us all at Townsville Basketball. He has worked tirelessly to achieve results on and off the court and leaves TBI in an excellent position to continue to grow and succeed in the future. It is an exciting opportunity for Townsville Basketball to recruit a new General Manager who will lead the club into the future and we will work diligently to appoint the right individual to the role”.

TBI will make an announcement in the near future regarding the General Manager position
