Canterbury Cobra's Head Coach up for grabs

Calling all Canterbury Cobra coach nominees. CAFL would like to thank Chris Mintern on his hard work, guidance and skilled coaching with the Canterbury Cobra's throughout 2016 and CONGRATULATE him on getting married in December.

Therefore Chris is stepping aside to allow somebody who is committed, passionate and bleeds red and black blood to lead the Cobra's to the NPC in Auckland December 9th and 10th.

Our CAFL season runs August 26th to November 11th.

We are penciling in a practice game against Otago Riot for Labour day weekend Satiurday 21st October.

Manager Sam Burdett will take care of most details leaving you to concentrate on the players and the game strategy. Funding is going in for flights, accomodation and new jerseys. We'll look a million bucks !

Picking the team and training will be up to you - so if you are up for the challenge and have a keen eye for talent then please nominate yourself by August 24th.

Please send a brief outline on your AFL experience and a brief description of team development.

Send to CAFL President Steve Langridge or chat on 0226 505 440

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
