Butler wins Best and Fairest Award

Winner : Sean Bultler 16 votes

Second: Zaak Williams 14 votes

Third: Josh Roble McGill 12 vote

Sean's award was accepted on his behalf by Blues Captain, Jared Court. Sean was also presented with an opal pendant to be given to his mother, who no doubt has been instrumental in Sean's developing career as an athlete.

The voting went down to the last round, with any of the top three capable of winning.

The trophy was named in honour of James Bowden, a long time champon in the Canterbury AFL competition and an internationally capped player for New Zealand, as well as a member of the famous 2010 NPC team that captured the first ever NPC win for Canterbury.

At the conclusion of the evening, members of the current NPC team were presented with their playing kit, which included, socks, shorts, guernsey, polo top and Canterbury jacket.

Action photos from the season were displayed on a large screen throughout the  night, taken by our CAFL photographer, Stev Nolan.
