Adopt a school and become a Coach

An invitation to assist with coaching in the lead up to the AFL 9's Junior Hawks cup in November has been issued to Cantabs by Game Development manager, Mick Coultard

Good Afternoon
There are a number of Secondary Schools in your area tha
t we are delivering coaching sessions to in the lead up to the Junior Hawks Cup in term 4 - October/November. Their training sessions are targeted for Lunchtime approx
1215 - 1315, and after school approx 1500 - 1600.
Hawthorn will also be in Christchurch 7th November to conduct a NZ Hawks Regional Combine. Part of the above process of delivering coaching sessions will involve Talent Identification for this combine. There are some strict guidelines that need to be followed in regards to talent identification.

To add some further information, Mick will be coming to Christchurch in the first week of term 4 to train prospective coaches. It is anticipated that successful applicants will be consisdered for appouinted to paid , part-time positions, as the role evolves. Those currently training in the Sports and Coaching delivery sector will be highly regarded.
