OBITUARY - ALAN WALTON
It is with deep sadness that we learnt on the weekend that former Illawarra Soccer Association President, Alan Walton passed away after a battle with a long term illness.
Alan was a tireless worker over numerous years within the football community and served many volunteer roles with Balgownie Juniors, Wollongong Wolves, Illawarra Soccer Referees Association and the Illawarra Soccer Association where he was President from 2000-2003 and was made a Life Member in 2006.
Alan will be laid to rest this afternoon at the Lakeside Cemetery after a service commencing at 1.30pm.
