Trudy Ireland Award of Merit 2018 Australian Country Junior Basketball Cup.
SA Country would like to congratulate and thank Trudy Ireland for her 2018 Award of Merit at the Australian Country Junior Basketball Cup. Her contributions to SA Country's Development and High Performance and the Yorke Valley Basketball Association have been exemplary.
Trudy has been a head coach of Under 16 and 18 Girls teams at the cup, an Assistant for Under 18 and 16 Girls teams at National Championships, and has been the Head Coach of the Under 16 Women at 4 National Championships.
In addition to her work with the SA Country High Performance Program, she has had a long standing involvement in her Local Association, which due to her tireless work and commitment has perennially been over represented when it comes to producing players in State Teams, National Teams, Centre of Excellence Scholarship Holders, and WNBL Teams over the last 10 to 15 years. Trudy has been an extremely valued contributor to Basketball in Country SA for a long time.
