Sports Trainer Recognition
The SA Sports Medicine Association (SASMA) are currently taking nominations for the Sports Trainer of the Year Awards, which will be announced on Saturday 23rd February at the Awards Night at Adelaide Oval following the 2019 FAST Conference.
We would encourage all sporting associations and clubs to consider nominating their Sports Trainers for one of the following Awards:
- Metro Trainer of the Year
- Regional Trainer of the Year
- Young Trainer of the Year

Nominations close Friday 18th January 2019.
On the night we will also be recognising people who have contributed significantly to the field of Sports Training over many years.
Could you please pass this around your contacts and clubs.
Even if you are not nominating a Sports Trainer for an Award we would encourage you to purchase tickets for your sports trainers team to come along to the night and even to the FAST Conference that is on that day. This is fast becoming a night of nights for Sports Trainers here in South Australia and it is a great way to say thank you for the amazing work they do within your sport.
