With the WNBL season kicking off we have been pleased to hear that some SA Country Athletes have been not only included but getting court time.
Sarah Elsworthy (Yorke Valley) and Chelsea Brook (Barossa) have both been successful in playing in the Lightning’s current WNBL fixture.
Sarah has been part of the starting 5 for most of the WNBL matches to date averaging 22mins of court time so far. With both girls still only young we are excited what their future holds.
We at SA Country are very proud of the success that our girls are having through state and national teams.
