• There will be two time slots, 4:30pm - 5pm and 5:15pm - 5:45pm. We hope that the later start and a longer space between times will allow referees and duty teams to be ready and not rushed. All age groups will be played in both time slots.
  • Tries scored by female players will be awarded 2 points, ​with the aim to increase participation of girls and encourage more mixed teams. This is for under 11s and under 15s.
  • Under 7 Skills Sessions not be held this season, under 7’s will just play games.

  • All Under 7 and Under 9 teams require a delegated person (this can be but doesn't have to be the team manager) this person is encouraged to assist on the field by acting as a coach and referee for their team for each game e.g. in defence having players get onside, counting touches, etc.

  •  U7 and U9 teams are required to have a minimum of 6 players.

  • U11 to U15 teams are required to have a minimum of 8 players.

  • Round 5 will be played in the first week of the School Holidays.

  • All teams must be in uniform by Round 3 of the competition. Players who are not in uniform after Round 3 will not be permitted to take the field & forfeiting rules will apply should the team not be able to field a side. ​Swapping of shirts throughout the game is not permitted.

  • When registering you will be asked for a shirt size, please be accurate as this is the size you will receive and there will not be an opportunity to swap with DTA only amongst others that have ordered the wrong size.


All teams must meet the ​weekly duty requirements for the competition which includes each week providing a minimum of 2 individuals willing to referee and score. The individual refereeing can be a player or parent from the team. Individuals who will be doing duty must report to the clubhouse at least 5 minutes prior to the game to be ticked off as attending and to collect the scoreboard.
Duty referees are required to wear a referee shirt if badged or otherwise a duty referee singlet provided at the clubhouse.
A failure to comply with the duty requirements will see teams lose 3 competition points, as of round 1. Dubbo Touch will endeavour to provide badge referees to assist duty team referees where possible however this is not guaranteed and individuals should be prepared to referee. Prior to registering please ensure you have individual/s willing to referee. ​(PLEASE BYO WHISTLE).
