Had a query raised and subsequently clarified recently re teams in Divisions with more than one "pool".

* If a Division is made up of more than one “pool”, the pools are considered as ONE Division and therefore transfer between teams/pools is not permitted after Round 5.

A reminder of a recent post on the rules around "transferring" between teams.

As we arrive at week 5 of games it is worth reminding coaches of the BSA By-Laws (see below) around moving players between teams. It is important to know that from round 6 players cannot be moved between teams in the same division.

2.4. Transfer Between Teams in Same Division*

a) During the Winter Season a player cannot play for multiple teams in the same division in the same season.

b) During the Summer Season and where clubs have multiple teams in the same division, a player may move between the club teams in that division during the first 5 minor round games of the season and can only play for one team in any one week.

2.5. Transfer Between Teams in Different Divisions

a) A player may be promoted any number of divisions from one week to the next.
b) A player can only be demoted one division within an age grade from one week to the next, i.e., from one division to the next lower division in which the club has a team.
