ABL Coaching Position Notice

ABL COACHING POSITION

Following three successful seasons, culminating in a Grand Final victory in 2014, Coach Barry Mansfield has decided to focus on other activities. As a result the North Adelaide Basketball Club is seeking written applications to fill the following position:

ABL WOMEN’S HEAD COACH

The North Adelaide Basketball Club competes in the Central Australian Basketball League, the premier basketball competition for South Australia's elite men's and women's teams.

 

The club has had a long and successful history within South Australia with an emphasis on providing a pathway for athletes from Juniors through to Seniors and beyond.

 

You will be a motivated person wishing to embrace the Club’s basketball philosophies, driving continual improvement for the 2015 season and potentially beyond. You will be energetic, positive and have effective communication skills across various levels of the Club operations.

 

Your written application should include details of your basketball background with emphasis on:

 

  • Coaching Experience and qualifications
  • Basketball philosophy and style of game proposed
  • Season programme including integration of U23 Youth League into that programme
  • Ideas/plans for enhancing a clear path way from U18’s through to Youth League and senior ABL

Ideally it is envisaged that the successful applicant will be available and be involved with the summer season commencing mid-October 2014.
