In a game that did not reach any great heights, the greater shooting percentage of Burnie compared to Somerset was the difference between the two teams. The two Armstrong brothers Tre and Tais were the better players scoring 17 and 15 points respectively.

In front of a large crowd Latrobe men continued their winning form in a high standard game. Devonport were looking to cause an upset with a 27 – 9 first quarter. However, Latrobe fought back well, led by an outstanding 40 point game from Brady Armstrong.

In a big upset, Smithton recorded a great victory over Penguin. Penguin’s high turn-over rate let them down badly. Brad Hardy and Hugh King were dominant for the Saint.

Ulverstone were far too strong for Wynyard. Harry O’Neill continued his consistent season scoring another game high 20 points.
