Gliders to face Mexico in Paralympics QF

After recording a 3-1 record in their four preliminary games, the Gliders were forced to wait to see where they would finish as rivals The Netherlands and Canada completed their final fixtures.

Despite the Dutch having a superior point differential it was the Gliders who claimed top billing on head-to-head record, while Canada could not close the 21-point gap between themselves and the Aussies despite a 17-point win over Great Britain.

The Mexicans finished the preliminary stage with just a one win, going down heavily to medal chances Germany and the USA.

The Gliders face Mexico for the opportunity to advance to the medal rounds tonight at 10:00pm AEST.
