ROUND 6 PLAYER OF THE WEEK

The Be Active Perth Wheelcats have continued their run of Player of the Week nominations with Kim Robins earning the honours for Round 6 as his team swept the Heelers in three games last weekend.

Averaging a team-high 24 points, Robins added 9.7 rebounds, three assists and 1.3 steals as he remained active at both ends of the court throughout the three contests.

On Friday night, Robins recorded a big double-double of 24 points and 15 rebounds as he got to the free-throw line at will for 8-13 shooting.

As the Wheelcats opened up a sizeable margin at quarter-time, Robins proved the catalyst with 11 first term points to almost out-score the opposition.

The following night, he was again in the thick of the action as he played every minute for 23 points on 9-14 shooting and he did most of his damage in another scintillating first quarter with eight points and a block.

Completing the sweep on Sunday, Robins got back to crashing the boards for his second double-double of the weekend.

He collected 12 rebounds (four offensive) and two steals with 27 points on 12-17 shooting (71%).

That improved efficiency saw Perth once again put Red Dust away in the first half and with five straight victories, they have maintained their spot on top of the ladder.
