Averaging a triple double over the weekend and helping the RSL Queensland Spinning Bullets to a victory in Game 1 against the Red Dust Heelers, young Roller, Tom O’Neill Thorne, is the Player of the Week for Round 3.

The 19 year old has been fantastic with his efforts, playing the full 40 minutes for the Bullets in both games. On Saturday, he put up 28 points with 15 rebounds and 13 assists, and on Sunday he put up 37 points, and including three 3 pointers, 7 assists and 12 rebounds.

Racking up such great numbers overall, it’s no surprise that Tom had high on-court efficiency rates of 36% and 35% respectively.

Tom O’Neill Thorne Round 3 Stats: 65 points at 47% shooting, 20 assists and 27 rebounds.

We would also like to mention the almost single-handed efforts of Shaun Norris against a well-balanced and highly experienced Rollerhawks squad in Round 3.

Shaun had a game high of 52 points on Sunday, which is also the highest individual score in the league so far.

As the league’s Player of the week in Round 1, and a really close contender for the title in Round 2 and Round 3, Shaun continues to be absolutely phenomenal this season.
