Braves Boys Impress NBL Team!

The Bendigo Bank Braves have had an exciting week with three of their new comers heading over to Sandringham arena on Wednesday to train with National Basketball Leagues (NBL) very own Melbourne United.
The opportunity arises after an outstanding start to the SEABL season from the boys.

The Braves players, Jeremy Kendle, Matt Andronicos and Damien Johnson have had a stellar start to the South Eastern Australian Basketball League (SEABL) season. Making an outstanding first impression with the Bendigo Braves.

Stand out shooting guard Jeremy Kendle has been a main contributor to the Braves 6 wins this season with an impressive average of 20 points per game.

Big man Matt Andronicos has also been a standout performer for the Braves, leading the team in rebounds each week and contributing massively offensively with his big presence in the key.

Crowd favourite Damien Johnson has had an impressively consistent start to the SEABL season. His outstanding defensive contributions has seen the Braves become unstoppable in this seasons road to finals.

Congratulations to the three boys, who were last week contacted by Melbourne United team management and invited to attend and participate in their training session.
Bendigo Basketball Association along with the Bendigo Bank Braves are proud of what the boys have achieved so far and look forward to the continued contribution from the boys leading into the next few games.

The Bendigo Bank Braves will be heading to the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC) this Saturday night to take on the Melbourne Tigers.
After a devastating loss to the Canberra Gunners last week, the Braves are looking to get back on the winning side.
The Braves will then bring their skills back to home court on Sunday to take on the Dandenong Rangers in what is promising to be a tough game for the boys. Tipoff will be at 2pm following the Lady Braves at midday. Children are FREE this Sunday so make sure you bring the whole family to come and support our very own Bendigo Bank Braves and Bendigo IGA Lady Braves.
